How to Sew Knit Fabric With the Tissue Method by Becky of craftingagreenworld.com
Have you ever had problems wrangling your knit fabrics? Do they stretch or wiggle? The tension on your machine can cause the bottom piece of fabric to move at a different speed from the top piece, causing wrinkles, ripples, and warping--so it's a great idea to stabilize your fabric before you start. Just use pins and a light colored tissue paper as described in the Tissue Method technique by Becky of craftingagreenworld.com, and you'll eliminate a ton of frustration. We currently have a huge array of knits in our brick-and-mortar store, in fabulous prints and solids in virtually every weight and fiber content. We especially love the zebra print shown below: you'll find it on our Second Floor.
